Resident Representative Elizabeth Lwanga : Made a Historic
Anouncement last week. "That all Media Houses who will
be running the Media Elections Strategy Programme for the
2007 elections will have to sign an MOU to include Sign
Language Interpretation."
That Ground Breaking Statement has
seen this week alone three of the National TV stations running
sign language enabled civic education programmes on Thursday
every week. Surely what great election boost. LETs GO and
VOTE the leadership of our choice WHO SUPPORTS OUR DISABILITY
AGENDA as expressed in the Disability Manifesto. |
