“You should not let your girls take control of your home. Why should she be the one bringing shirts to your husband and asking him whether or not they are well ironed or asking what he’d like to eat?”

What about those women who take charge of their own homes but whose husbands have affairs with the house help anyway?
Allan steps in to say that in such a case, it has to do with the man’s personality.

“A man must maintain respect for himself as well as those supposed to respect him. When he starts having sex with his employees, he sacrifices his dignity and compromises his marriage.”
