:: Do say you’re sorry
Friends don’t hurt each other and Allan says he make it
a point to apologies to his wife even when she is clearly the
one in the wrong. Why? Because he doesn’t want his wife
to hurt and he knows that saying sorry “won’t
diminish my manliness one bit.”
“My mouth won’t get blisters because I said sorry.
I am human and I make mistakes. I even say sorry to the children.
It doesn’t make me change colour… I remain the same.”
Allan says he finds it difficult to concentrate at work or any
other activity when he is in conflict with his wife. “When
we have a fight, we try and reconcile almost immediately. You
can’t give your best friend a black-out for too long.”
