The objective of ABBA include

First Objective

The first Objective is to identify and understand how social and economic factors and processes shape the influences of HIV/AIDs on individuals, families, subgroups and communities within particular local and national contexts and setting saddressing not just mitigation but prevention.

The second objective

The second objective is to assess the ability of different instituions (their capacity, political will, effectiveness, etc) to mitigate the risk and impact of HIV/AIDS for different groups.

Third Objective

The Third objective is to use this evidence to advise on policy design and implementation.

Fourth objective

The Last is to develop capacity, through participation in RPC research activities and through training and workshops in the use of findings and tools generated by the RPC.
