The Partners in the ABBA projects are:

1) Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine with antonieta Lara and Dr. Dave Haran as team leaders.

2) Health Economics and HIV/AIDS Research Division (HEARD) led by Prof. Alan Whiteside.

3) Dr. John Gyapong of the Health Research Unit (HRU) to lead the ABBA work in Ghana.

4) Dr. Kelly Hallman of Population Council

5) Dr. John Mwesigwa of Regional AIDS Training Network (RATN) to lead research activites in Kenya and Ethiopia on people with disabilities (PWDS) at an increased threat to HIV/AIDS.

6) Bertha Simwaka of Research on Equity and Community Health (REACH) to lead onj the socio-economic mapping of risks factors and identification of those institutions that contribute to, or reduce, the threats of HIV/AIDs on livelihoods.
