:: CBR African Conference

Community based rehabilitation (CBR) African conference to be held in South Africa October 29th to 1st November.

The Conference themed: CBR: policy development and implementation' is expected to also validate the CBR guidelines after over three years of debate process that is led by ILO, WHO and UNESCO.

The objective is to make CBR relevant to mainstreaming disability within local, national, regional and international poverty eradication programmes and general development strategies like the Millienium development goals.

The kenyans field audit efforts was led by the Loenard Cheshire International and involved various stakeholders which is to present their views in the Conference to be held in Birchwood Executive Hotel in South Africa.
