Disability is not Inability

DISABILITY RESOURCE AND INFORMATION CENTRE-DRIC.

This is to inform you that the United Disabled persons Of Naivasha UDPN has started the construction of a modern DISABILITY RESOURCE AND INFORMATION CENTRE-DRIC. The building is being put up at the Naivasha district Hospital. Its estimated to cost KSH 5 million.

Once complete the centre will offer a comprehensive response to needs of people with disability in the region. The services include , Trainings,Therapy, Information ,assesment, referals, education fund, employment bureau and income generating activities.

The centre main target will be children with disability in order to offer early intervention.

UDPN wishes to request all the stake holders in the disability movement to support our bid to Have the UNITED NATIONS day for persons with disasbility to be celebrated and marked in Naivasha as we open the centre.
