:: Discrimination

To “discriminate” means to accord different treatment to different persons solely or mainly as a result of their disabilities and includes using words, gestures or caricatures that demean, scandalise or embarrass a person with a disability.... Persons with Disability ACT.


When you cannot be served by a nurse in a public health facility, or hear statements expressing negative attitude because of your disability, lack of access rumps, disability insensitive administrative systems, insensitive communication systems: that according to this definition is discrimination.
