:: How To Use A Male Condom.

BEFORE SEX
Always check the expiry date in the condom identified as ‘Exp.” On the pack. Condoms that are beyond their expiry date, in damaged packages, discoloured, brittle, stiff or sticky, should be thrown away and another used.

Open the condom package carefully to avoid damaging it with fingernails, teeth or other sharp objects.

PUTTING ON THE CONDOM

Put the condom on a hard erect penis before you have sex or before the penis comes in contact with your partner’s vaginal, mouth or anus. Hold the rolled condom by its tip over the hard penis.

The rolled ring should be on the outside of the condom. Leave a centimeter of space at the tip to collect the semen. If you are not circumcised, roll back the foreskin before rolling on the condom.

Unroll the condom all the way down to the base of the penis with your other hand. Smooth out any air bubbles. Be careful to avoid friction against air bubbles which can cause the condom to break.

ENJOY SEX
With a condom it is possible to enjoy sex better.

TAKING OF THE CONDOM

After sex, pull out immediately while the penis is still hard to avoid leakage. Hold on to the base of the condom to prevent the contents from spilling. Take off the condom without spilling the semen.

DISPOSING THE CONDOM

Take off the condom using a tissue paper or some clean cloth. Tie the base of the condom and throw it away in a bin or another safe place.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Condoms are made of a substance called latex.

1. Use each condom only once.

2. Do not unroll a condom before putting it on.

3. Use only water-based lubricants with latex condoms. Oil based lubricants like vaseline can cause latex to break down.

4. Do not rely on a condom that has been carried around in a pocket or wallet for a long time as body heat and friction can damage the latex.

5. After use put the condom in a bin, pit toilet or rubbish hole that is safe from children. Do not flush it down the toilet.
