Engage with political parties and politicians.

To get disability issues on the political agenda, disabnility organistaions should come together to compile a comprehensive disability manifesto that must be incuded in all party manifestos. The disability manifesto should commit political parties to enact fully inclusive disability friendly laws and policies.

Way forward for disability manifesto

- Establish an advisory and consultative body that brings issues of disabilities in the electoral process.

- Issues on disability should not be organized.

- Prepare a comprehensive disability manifesto.

- Engage the political parties to include the disability manifesto in their campaigns.

- Seek media support in promoting the disability manifesto.
