:: MOURNING AND TRIBUTE TO AL

I will sing… I will sing
Will you sing with me?
I will sing…I will sing

Tragedy in our house hold again
Devastating this time this one
Hope and hope against hope shattered
This black Saturday, and green Sunday
And finally red Monday
With no life in it

Those torturous, treacherous and terrifying
Moments just to recall
Hope and hope against hope shattered
Watching the debris that was KQ 507
Lifeless flesh and souls lay there bare
And our ALBERT DAKTARI no more
Never to be seen again forever and ever
That’s too much too painful to bear

Would you want to imagine with me moments before
What AL was thinking and saying on seat 105
What feelings were there in mind, in body, in soul?
Patiently waiting with others before take off

I imagine AL was thinking something
About something about trip success
And would be ’’last, this, next’’ week component
At Monday’s m4 meet.
Moment came and ’we are in danger’

I imagine AL feelings this time
And I see AL bravely consulting God

Ensuing is deep sorrow of tears
For love of his family
The immediate family
And the extended one
In here and in there
Comprising the immediate family
Loving wife and children
Relatives and friends
Pole…. Pole…
Liverpool Vct, Care and Treatment Organization
Is the extended family.

Amidst all this terrifying moment
AL had the audacity to smile
Cheers cheers cheers
Smiled aware family in brave hands
Smiled aware he was dying
For the nobility
And of cause
Of Liverpool Organization

We pay our solemn tribute to a selfless man that AL was. He was a father, a teacher, a counsellor, a friend…… and a very social person. His leadership traits was very unique and this has immensely contributed to LVCT the professional Organization that it’s today

His team work approach and the belief that everyone has the capacity to make an accomplishment was really source of inspiration and empowerment..............and nobody walked alone.

And hearing latest communications, the trusted and old hands of Nduku Kilonzo and Ernest Nyamato simply inspires and refreshes the soul and oils the mind

And the able leadership of our managers simply chases the fears away. And the collective support and commitments from a wealth pool of our staff clearly completes the gap

That’s what AL nurtured… he may be gone…..but he’s also here with us reincarnated in our midst.
Did you sing Dr Nyamato’s piece my friend….yes Liverpool land, yes we were strong

‘’ …….You have a limited time to stay on earth. You must try and use that period for the purpose of transforming your country into what you desired it to be. ‘’
