2. YOU ARE HIV POSITIVE WHEN YOU HAVE THE VIRUS THAT CAUSES AIDS

Someone is said to be HIV positive when they are found to have the Human Immunodeficiency Virus – HIV in their body. No one can tell the difference between someone who is infected with the AIDS virus and someone who is not infected, unless their blood has been tested for the virus.
