3. A BLOOD TEST IS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN BE SURE YOU ARE NOT INFECTED

The only way to find out if you or your partner is not carrying the virus that causes AIDS, is through a blood test. You can get a blood test at a number of hospitals or Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) Centres around the country. Although not yet widely available in Kenya, there are currently 78 VCT centres countrywide.
