Disability is not Inability

Educating a woman with disability is NOT a waste...

Firstly, lack of sufficient education. Most of women with disability are among the illiterate groups of society, probably because their families still believe that to educate a person with disabilities, especially in this case a woman, is to waste energy, time and money. Besides, many training centers for people with disabilities, especially in Africa, focus only on imparting manual skills that is developed the ability, as if all people with disability are mentally inapt.

It is true that many people with disability have developed extraordinary artistic skills, but for me as longer as it miss the good intellectual capacities, these training will remain incomplete. Other aspect of education is no access to information through radio/or television, especially for the deaf and blind people; no sex educational programs (adequate knowledge of production health) for those who living in Institutional centers are rare.
